On Sunday morning we checked out of our cosy cottage in Paternoster, and drove back down to Cape Town to do more touristy things. First on the agenda was a boat cruise on the Tigresse Catamaran, which journeyed along the coast for 90 minutes, and boasted quaint views of Table mountain. I was hoping to see some extraordinary marine life but only seals and jellyfish were in sight. I wore one of my favourite dresses by Brett Robson, & my jacket and shoes are from Topshop.
After the cruise we headed to Camps Bay to check in to our next home, Atlantic Gold. Boy, oh boy, did this place live up to its name. A majestic gem perched on the foot of the mountains with a birdseye view of the Atlantic Ocean. The view from the bedroom. The view from the balcony before sunset. where we chilled for a few hours, sipping wine, taking time slow before heading out for dinner.
Dinner was at Hussar Grill in Camps Bay where our table was decked in succulent lamb chops, lamb shank and a variation of vegetables. The night led us to Jade in Greenpoint because I had read somewhere on Twitter that it’s the place to be on Sunday nights. But it was very underwhelming. There was nothing extraordinary about it. It’s a very small place, 85% of which is “VIP” and the general area had little to no seating inside – mediocre playlists and a crowd that looked well under 23 years of age. However, I definitely plan on coming back to Cape Town in the near future because I had planned to do so much but time wasn’t really on my side.
See you again soon CPT.
Sartorially, Eleigh
I love you!
